Help! Help!

Уважаемые знатоки английского! Пожалуйста, помогите подправить мой перевод диалога в комиксе.

Текст:
- Решил я попробовать пожить жизнью вегетарианца.
- И как?
- В общем, мух ем, но с отвращением.

Перевод:
- I decided to live as a vegetarian.
- And how?
- In general, I eat flies, but with disgust.

Контекст:

"I've decided to become a vegetarian."

"And how's that working out?"

"Oh, I still eat flies, but I don't like them any more."

My proposal, in American English. (a) Nobody decides to "live as a vegetarian"; it's "to become a vegetarian"; (b) "А как?" would appear to be colloquial for the translation above; (c) "dislike" works best, IMO, for "отвращение" here.

Cheers...

Well, if space is at a premium, the non-vegetarian could simply say "And—?" but that leaves the reader with too much work to do, in my opinion.

As an alternative, one could conceivably take a liberty with the translation and have the non-vegetarian ask "So what do you eat?"

To which the response might be: "The same. Flies. But I don't like them now."

Cheers...
