FSD-Fractional Standard Deviation

The fractional standard deviation of a random variable is equal to its standard deviation σ divided by its mean μ. This ratio has also been called the “coefficient of variation.” In practice, σ and μ are replaced by estimators such as sample standard deviation and a sample mean, respectively. The FSD is often expressed as a percent.
