Может быть у кого-то стоят на книжной полке переводы английской классики на русский, а мне всего-то нужно две фразы -

1. Pope: "Glory and gain the industrious tribe provoke" ("The Dunciad", 2.29)

2. Gray: "Full many a gem of purest ray serene" ("Elegy", l. 53)

Would the expression "...для чайников" (to denote information for beginners) be considered insulting? It would appear to be the Russian version of the American "...for Dummies" on a series of books, and I would imagine it is not an insult, but I just want to make sure before I get up in front of a lot of Russians and Russian-speakers and use the term.
