ru_translateLooking at geomorphology, I have the following sentence:
Самотлорское месторождение расположено в пределах ..., которая на правобережь широтной Оби имеет название... .
I assume правобережь is a typographical error, but what is meant by широтной Оби? Does this refer to a section of the Ob River that extends east-west, i.e., more or less along a line of latitude?
I've not found this in any dictionary (either on-line or paper), but the expression can be found several times by searching, e.g., on Rambler (see here, where it is said: "...на стыке меридиональной и широтной части озера,..." but with no map to illustrate).
Any help appreciated.
