None of the above, I think. It's an attorney who gives advice about how to structure your assets or transactions in order to minimize the taxes you have to pay (within legal bounds, of course).

Correct. It is a lawyer who is a member of the bar, not an accountant. A tax attorney does tax planning (how to pay less taxes) and tax compliance (filling out tax forms and reminding the client to make payments.)
