Уважаемые господа!
Очень нужна помощь знающих людей.
Вопрос следующий:
"Основана в 1965 году" - 'Est. 1965' или 'Since 1965'.
Есть ли разница в употреблении? Если есть, в чём она? Как правильно?

'Since 1965' usually is said about a trademark or brand name.
"Основана в 1965 году" depending on the context might be "found in 1965" if it is said about an university for example.

But is there any difference between
'Est. 1965' and 'Since 1965' in the logo of the firm?

Est. means established, right? Probably there is a difference, I would say that "established" has slightly more conservative connotation:))

I agree that "founded" or "established" is more conservative than "since". There used to be an old joke:
"ACME Corporation, founded in 1899, honest service since 1980."
