The Praise of Folly (Greek title: Moriae Encomium, Latin: Stultitiae Laus, sometimes translated as In Praise of Folly, Dutch title: Lof der Zotheid) is an essay written in 1509 by Erasmus of Rotterdam and first printed in 1511.

К сожалению, греческого не знаю, но Moriae Encomium как-то не звучит для меня по гречески... требуется разъяснение знатоков

спасибо большое... енкомион звучит куда более по-гречески, нежели encomium, а мориа видимо относится ко мне, я же знала, что moron слово греческого происхождения

moriae encomium consists of Latin neologisms based on common Greek words. The words have Latin, rather than Green case endings. Also, the book was written as a gift to Thomas More, hence the title also is a pun. Erasmus used the Latinized words in the first edition, but some later editions (copyright didn't exist at the time) used the real Greek.
The moral is to be careful in trusting Wikipedia. If it wasn't late in the evening, I'd fix it in Wikipedia.
