Подскажите, пожалуйста, как расшифровать аббревиатуру T.R.E. вот в таком предложении:

Forty-three French burgesses now held forty-three of the mansurae (меры площади) which had paid geld T.R.E.

В Википедии нашлись упоминания в соответствующем контексте, но не помогло.
