(Notice that we are thinking about a future condition. We use the past simple tense to talk about the future condition. We use WOULD + base verb to talk about the future result. The important thing about the second conditional is that there is an unreal possibility that the condition will happen.)
After all, both the EU members, and their partners will/would lose if the euro collapses.
The EU is in systemic crisis. The decline of culture, moral decadence, and growing political and economic contradictions inside the European Union will finally lead to collapse not only of the eurozone, but of the EU on the whole.
The leading European politicians stress that Belarus is a European country and some even dare say that it will be able to join the EU. Ordinary Europeans will support this decision: 72% of the interviewed residents of the EU support its further enlargement.
Belarusian goods will fail to meet competition on the European market
The myth will become the truth if status quo prevails. But it will be destroyed if Belarus steps in the doors that the EU holds wide open.
Rapprochement with the EU will lead to rift with Russia
5)According to BISS study, 44.2% of those who knows about the Eastern Partnership program, and 35.2% of those who didn’t hear about it, believe that the country’s participation in Eastern Partnership will lead to exacerbation of relations with Russia

(5) The myth will become the truth (я бы сказала will become true). В последнем предложении мне не нравится "those who knows... and didn't hear": я бы сказала "44.2% of those who know... and 35.2% of those who have not heard about it."

second draft
Date: 2011-05-01 01:57 am (UTC)The EU is in a systemic crisis. Cultural decline, moral decadence, and growing political and economic contradictions inside the European Union will eventually lead to a collapse not only of the eurozone, but of the EU itself.
TheLeading European politicians stress that Belarus is a European country and some even go as far as saying that it will be able to join the EU. Ordinary Europeans will support this decision: 72% of the interviewed residents of the EU support its further expansion.Belarusian goods will fail to compete on the European market.
The myth will become a reality, if status quo prevails. But it will dissipate if Belarus enters the doors held open by the EU.
Rapprochement (I would use ‘closer ties’) with the EU will lead to a rift with Russia.
According to a/the BISS study, 44.2% of those who know about the Eastern Partnership program and 35.2% of those who haven’t heard about it believe that the country’s participation in the Eastern Partnership will lead to a deterioration of relations with Russia.
