Date: 2014-01-17 09:33 am (UTC)Она не простит, что бы он потом ни обещал и ни говорил. Я не вижу в этой песне никаких намеков на то, что он в пьяном виде сказал что-то УЖАСНОЕ.
Обещал никогда больше не пить, напился, все - давай до свидания со своими дальнейшими обещаниями.

Date: 2014-01-17 03:31 pm (UTC)Вы трактуете whatever he said как no matter what he later said, а я это воспринимаю как something (something unknown, something that he couldn't remember) he said.
Может быть это оттого, что в разговорах вокруг можно услышать (неграмматические -? ) полные предложения I can do whatever или I can say whatever.
