Думаю в этом случае, это "сбрасывание (на жесткий диск) используя таг.
Таг ассоциируется с указателем времени.

существующий mg ... сбрасывается по тэгу(сбрасывается вероятно в том смысле, что какая то область памяти очищается, вполне может быть, что после этого ничего не защищает the previous data structure). Удаленный memoryguard пересоздается (сбросить=удалить)
