Не встречался ли кому термин core musculature?
(Контекст:innervation of the core musculature in conjunction with upper and lower body muscles)

мне кажется, что core - это передние верхние мышцы брюшного пресса в отличие от oblique (боковых) и lower abdominal (нижней части). но до конца не уверен, вполне возможно, что несу ахинею :)

Все предложение звучит так: The use of this machine in a standing position requires innervation of the core musculature in сonjunction with upper and lower body muscles.
Мой приблизительный вариант перевода:
Тренировка стоя требует иннервации мышц брюшного пресса во взаимодействии с мышцами верхней и нижней части тела.

Просто слова перевожу, за деревьями лес не вижу:)

Т.е. "корсет" (поперечные живота+внутренние косые+поясничные).
