 Моего ребенка в Австралии толстая женщина назвала обезьянкой. Я не знаю тонкостей английского - там это считается нормальным?.
Дело в том, что мой ребенок действительно похож на обезьяну - он коричневатый, глазастый и цепкий. То есть можно считать такое расизмом и оскорблением.
Или же это можно считать чем-то типа русского "котик", которое не значит, что названный объект воняет котом и царапается?..

Здравствуйте, коллеги.
Жизнь вынудила переводить эту бяку. В "тексте" сплошные аббревиатуры. Например, такие статьи:
Storno prov. CN distribution fees
management fees CC adj Q2
distri fees TS adj Q3

Из всех буковок понятна лишь Q (квартал). С остальным алфавитом никто не поможет? Будет полезна ссылка на "букварь".

Заранее благодарна тем, кто умеет считать деньги. :)

В доме образовалась упаковка сушеной китайской травы. Я люблю китайскую кухню, но не настолько, чтобы экспериментировать вслепую. :) Пожалуйста, может быть, кто-нибудь переведет, что это и как его готовить (я так понимаю, сзади как раз об этом)?

Отправляю аннотацию к научной работе в печать, сделал перевод, но очень мне неспокойно - все кажется, что неправильно употреблены артикли, слишком много "of" и вообще - как-то громоздко получается, вдруг англофоны не поймут?

Посмотрите, пожалуйста, фразу - что в ней требуется подкорректировать? Заранее благодарю!
